We're a small, family-run business, and we only collect what we need to do the job well. When you contact us or request a quote, we may collect your name, phone number and email address; your suburb or street address, so we can plan an in-home measure; details about your enquiry, such as the products you're interested in; and general website analytics data, such as which pages you visited and how you found us.

How we collect it

We collect this information directly from you — through the forms on this website, over the phone, by email, or when we visit your home for a measure and quote. We don't collect personal information about you from anyone else without telling you.

Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, arrange and carry out your measure and installation, and follow up afterwards. We don't use it for anything beyond running our business and serving you.

Who we share it with

We share your information only where it's needed to do the job: with the suppliers and manufacturers who make your blinds, curtains or shutters, and with the service providers who run our booking system, customer database and website analytics. We don't sell your information to anyone, for any reason.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses cookies to make the enquiry form work properly. We may also use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how the site is used and how well our advertising is working — these can set their own cookies in your browser. How we store and protect it

Your information is stored securely with reputable Australian and international service providers, and access is limited to the people at Coastline Blinds who need it to do their job. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as it's useful to you and to us — generally for the life of any warranty on your products, plus a reasonable period afterwards — and remove it when it's no longer needed.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or update it, at any time. Just call or email us and we'll sort it out.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first — call 07 5575 3349 or email info@coastlineblinds.com.au and we'll do our best to fix it. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
