Our story

Twenty-eight years of Gold Coast windows

Coastline Blinds has been making and fitting custom window furnishings on the Gold Coast since 1998. Same family, same phone number, same person turning up to measure your windows.

That's not nostalgia — it's the actual business model. When Danny quotes your job, Danny installs your job. There's no sales team handing off to a subcontractor, no call centre, and nobody working to a commission target that has nothing to do with what your room needs.

Over that time we've fitted out beachfront apartments in Surfers, renovated Queenslanders in Southport, new builds in Hope Island and a great many ordinary family homes in between. Roughly the whole coast, from Tweed Heads to Ormeau.

The way we do it

How we work

We come to you

There's no showroom, and that's deliberate. Fabric and colour look different in every light — showroom lighting is the worst possible place to choose them. We bring the full sample range to your house and you decide in the room the product is going in.

We recommend, we don't sell

Nobody here is on commission. If a mid-range roller blind will do the job as well as a premium one, we'll say so. If you're better off spending your budget on three good windows than six average ones, we'll say that too.

We make it locally where we can

Most of what we supply is manufactured in Australia. It means better quality control, shorter lead times, and someone we can actually call when something needs fixing.

We install it ourselves

The measure and the install are the two points where a job goes wrong. We do both. If something isn't right, there's no argument about whose fault it is.

Our range

What we make

Custom blinds, curtains and plantation shutters for homes and commercial spaces across the Gold Coast.

That covers roller, vertical, Venetian, panel and Veri Shades blinds; sheer, blockout and wave fold curtains; and plantation shutters in timber, PVC and aluminium. Motorisation on any of it.

Everything is made to measure. We don't sell off-the-shelf sizes.
