Roller Blinds

Built for sliding doors and wide windows. Custom-made vanes, measured and fitted by us.
Vertical Blinds
Most blinds get awkward past a certain width. A roller blind spanning three metres is heavy, sags over time, and gives you one choice: up or down.
Vertical blinds solve that. The vanes hang independently, so width costs you nothing structurally, and they draw fully to one side to clear the whole opening. On a sliding door you can walk through without touching the blind.
Light control
The vanes rotate through a full range. Angle them toward the sun and you cut glare while keeping the room bright. Turn them flat and you get near-full privacy. Draw them back and the window is completely clear.
Through a Gold Coast afternoon, that adjustability matters more than people expect. You're not choosing between a bright room and a cool one.
Worth knowing
Vertical blinds have a reputation from commercial fit-outs, and it's out of date.
Modern vanes come in wider profiles — 100mm and 127mm rather than the narrow strips of old office blinds — which reads as far softer. Fabric ranges now include textured weaves, blockout, and sunscreen options. And chainless designs remove the dangling chain that made the old ones look like a doctor's waiting room.
If you want the practicality without any of the association, look at Veri Shades on the blinds hub — they operate the same way but hang like a curtain.

Good to know
Yes, and that's one of the real advantages. If one vane is damaged you replace that vane, not the whole blind. Keep a spare or two from the original order if you've got kids or pets.
Very wide. We regularly do runs well over four metres in a single track. Beyond that we'll split it into two tracks that meet in the centre, which also gives you the option of opening from either side.
Yes, though on a standard-sized window a roller blind usually looks neater. Verticals earn their keep on width.
Chain-operated verticals come with safety devices as standard. Chainless and wand-operated versions remove the loose chain entirely and are the better choice with small children.
Wipe down with a damp cloth, or vacuum with a brush attachment. Fabric vanes can usually be removed and hand-washed — check the care instructions we supply with your order.
